A Different Kind of Safari Company

The Parks

Journeys through the Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire and Lake Manyara, private or in a small group, from two days to seven, or entirely bespoke.

A Different Kind of Safari Company

Seventeen years in Tanzania. Our own guides, our own way of doing things.

We didn’t learn these parks from a guidebook. Our guides have spent whole careers reading this land, the season each riverbed runs dry, the week the calving begins, the corner of the crater where the light turns gold first. That kind of knowledge only comes from being here, year after year, long before the guests arrive and long after they leave.

It’s why every itinerary on this page starts from the same place: not a list of parks to tick off, but a genuine understanding of what each one offers, and when.

Let me know if you’d like the heading changed too, or if keeping it consistent with the homepage works well as a piece of recurring brand language.

The Northern Circuit

Landscapes without equal

The parks of northern Tanzania hold the greatest concentration of wildlife on earth. Each has its own personality. Together, they make the finest safari on the planet.

Tanzania

The Serengeti

Endless plains, vast herds and big cats watching it all unfold. This is the safari every other safari is measured against, and it never once disappoints.

Tanzania

Ngorongoro Crater

A collapsed volcanic caldera that shelters an extraordinary density of wildlife. Nowhere else gives you a better chance of seeing the Big Five in a single unforgettable day.

Tanzania

Lake Manyara

A soda lake tucked beneath the Rift Valley escarpment, framed by dense groundwater forest. Famous for its tree climbing lions and vast flocks of flamingos gathered along the shore.

Tanzania

Arusha National Park

Kandoo’s home ground, and often the first stop on safari. Mount Meru rises above forest, swamp and crater floor, home to giraffe, buffalo and colobus monkeys in striking numbers.

Tanzania

Tarangire National Park

Ancient baobabs stand watch over Tanzania’s largest elephant herds, gathered along the river through the dry season. A quieter park, and one of our favourites for that very reason.
